Welcome to the Maritime section of Flowers Canada Growers (FCG). The Maritime region includes New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. This region is mostly known for their cool, temperate climate. The winters are long and cold, and snowfalls abundant. The growing season lasts on the average 133 days, but with greenhouses, growers are able to produce floriculture all year round.
The floriculture industry in the Maritimes:
  • 2.85% in farm gate sales
  • 41.04 million in sales each year
  • 150.6 Million estimated total economic impact
