Welcome to the British Columbia section of Flowers Canada Growers (FCG).  British Columbia is known mostly for their beautiful scenery filled with mountainous terrain and lavish rainforests, but they are also widely known for their rich soil and large farmlands.  With large mountains, come deep valleys. These valleys provide a temperate climate that is optimal for flower growth.  There are numerous outdoor flower producers, but the majority of BC flower production is grown in greenhouses.  They have much experience with floriculture and many specialize in plant science. They use their keen knowledge to produce high yield crops that are sold all over Canada and the United States.

The British Columbia floriculture industry:

  • 23.15% of the total floriculture sector in Canada.
  • 1.22 billion estimated total economic impact
  • 333.3 Million in farm gate sales each year

Many producers in BC sell product with the United Flower Growers website [ http://www.ufgca.com/homepage/subpages/Growers.html ]
